Important Notice Regarding Import Conditions and Duties

Thank you for your interest in our vehicle.

Please be advised that this car is more than 25 years old and may qualify for import under the U.S. “25-year rule,” which generally exempts vehicles from certain EPA and DOT compliance requirements.

According to the most recent U.S. federal notice (Proclamation 10801, April 2025), it appears that passenger vehicles manufactured over 25 years ago may be excluded from the newly introduced 25% import tariff, and instead remain subject to the regular 2.5% duty rate.

However, since the language in the proclamation does not explicitly guarantee this exemption, final decisions are made at the discretion of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) upon entry.

For this reason, we recommend that buyers confirm the current status of import tariffs for 25-year-old vehicles with their customs broker or import specialist before finalizing the purchase.

We are happy to provide all documentation needed (manufacture year certificate, export title, etc.) to support your import process.

Please let us know if you have any further questions — we are here to help.

Best regards,
